Summer School
Readers of The Priest may know one or more young people who might consider study at Campion Col- lege, Australia’s only liberal arts university. The
College hosts an annual summer school for prospective students, immersing them in the life of a Catholic tertiary student.
The programme is a combination of classes in the core disciplines, fun activities, and prayer together. Even students who do not enrol at Campion can bene t from the summer school’s spiritual and intellectual formation, and the social connections they will make.

Clergy members of the ACCC received, last September, a complimentary copy of Pref-
erential Option for the Family: One hundred questions and answers relat- ing to the Synod. In recent months, the publishers have sent the book to every Catholic bishop in the world.
The authors of this valuable re- source, originally published in Italian, are three Catholic bishops: Most Rev Aldo di Cillo Pagotto, Archbishop of Paraíba (Brazil), Most Rev Robert F. Vasa, Bishop of Santa Rosa (USA), and Most Rev Athanasius Schneider, auxil- iary bishop of Astana (Kazakhstan.)

past, but the value of this booklet is en- during. Its subjects include the sexual revolution; communion for the sepa- rated, the divorced, and the divorced and remarried; and homosexuality and same-sex unions.
Its incisive Q&A catechetical format is eminently pastoral. The booklet is designed to assist bishops, priests, cat- echists, and indeed all the faithful, to clearly enunciate Catholic teaching on the family.
